In 1994, Italian researchers found that Yohimbine has a positive improvement in sex drive and sexual stimulation on men with psychogenic impotence3.

Fifty percent of the patients were given daily doses of 15 mg of Yohimbine along with Trazodone, an antidepressant. The other half of the subjects were on a placebo. This study lasted over an 8-week period or approximately 2 months.

At the end of the study, 71% of the group on Yohimbine have increased their libido, erection quality, and ejaculation. On the other hand, the placebo group only has 22% of the participants with positive results.

Then, for another 8 weeks, the researchers gave Yohimbine tablets to the placebo group. Amazingly, Yohimbine maintained consistent results with 74% of the subjects have positive results.

During follow-ups in a 3 and 6 months period, 58 out of the 63 patients have consistent results4.
