Regular Coffee Consumption Boosts The Body's Immune System

One study says that coffee consumption as a lifestyle can boost the body's immunity against diseases. Moreover, it is important to take note that the coffee used in the study is regular coffee.

What Is A Regular Coffee?

Today, especially the young generation may have known coffee through mainstream coffee shops. In fact, when you go into coffee shops, you'll be offered with a long list of menu involving coffee.

But regular coffee involves simple preparation with 3 main ingredients such as water, coffee, and sugar. In fact, if you drink pure black coffee without sugar, it is more beneficial. But if you can't drink it sugar-free, use sugar or better brown sugar as a sweetener but never use an artificial sweetener.

The body's immune system will be maintained properly if the body has a balance between proinflammatory response and anti-inflammatory so the body will not be susceptible to illness. The results of the study indicate that coffee has potentiate to regulate the response of proinflammatory and antiinflammatory of the body.

Previous studies also support the findings in this study including this one.

Final Thoughts

So, what's next? Are we just going to drink coffee daily and we'll be able to enjoy the health benefits? Certainly, it is beneficial to drink regular coffee on a daily basis.

If you're used to drinking coffee with many additives such as creamier and artificial sweetener, you have to change the way you prepare your coffee. Going back to the basics of freshly brewed coffee and drinking it black is a lot more beneficial. Even adding real sugars especially organic brown sugar is a good choice if you can't drink it black.

The same is true for people drinking all-in-one coffee or coffee that you just tear its pack and pour hot water onto it. This all-in-one coffee, if you read the ingredients at the back of its pack, you'll find ingredients you don't even understand. Most of them contain artificial sweeteners like aspartame, which is bad for health.

So, go back to the basics of simple coffee preparation. Freshly ground and brewed coffee is even better. You can even cold brew your coffee if you feel that typical brewing is somewhat acidic for you.
